Tucker cites Baltimore to show hypocrisy of equity agenda
Lunar diversity must be a priority
Last night Tucker Carlson used Baltimore to spotlight the silliness that is the far left’s equity agenda, an agenda that has been adopted in full by the Biden administration.
Carlson starts by identifying a peculiar $7.5 billion dollar set aside in Biden’s latest $6 trillion dollar federal spending proposal:
“Tucked away in the administration’s latest $6 trillion dollar budget proposal, is $7.5 billion dollars to ‘land the first woman and person of color on the moon’”.
Ahh yes. Progress will truly have been achieved once we’ve realized lunar diversity. The story of racial progress in this country will start with the end of slavery, and conclude in the cosmos.
But in reality of course, this set aside and the outcome it hopes to foster is not an indication of progress, but is instead a feeble attempt to distract from a failure.
And that failure is nowhere more evident than in Baltimore City, where violence is surging to levels on par with impoverished nations in South America. The only difference is that, in Baltimore, virtually all of the victims are black, as Carlson said:
“Baltimore is more dangerous than it’s ever been. The city’s murder rate is higher than El Salvador’s. Baltimore is more than 60% black. The overwhelming majority, almost every murder victim in the city is also black.”
Of course this is true. Baltimore has become increasingly violent since the death of Freddie Gray, which marked a turning point in the way police operate in the city.
But the point Carlson makes is well taken. Biden has aligned himself with minority populations, claiming to be their advocate, a voice for them.
So where is that voice when it comes to Baltimore?
